Grey Squirrels are a common urban pest. Although mainly found outdoors in wooded areas, trees and bushes, they can and often do on occasions, take up residence in homes across the UK. They will seek shelter and warmth during the winter months in lofts and roof spaces.
Once in your home they can be a real annoyance, noisy in both their movement and their calling sounds. Squirrel infestations are usually identified by a lot of scratching noises, calling sounds and droppings in and around areas where the squirrels inhabit.
A new squirrel like pest that is moving South through the country is the Glis Glis or European Edible Dormouse, it acts very similar to the Grey Squirrel and is becoming an new pest for us to proof against and trap.
